13 Ribu UMKM di Cimahi Gulung Tikar Akibat Pandemi Covid-19
INFOKA.ID – Sebanyak 30 persen atau sekitar 13 ribu lebih dari total 44 ribu UMKM yang ada di Cimahi gulung tikar pada tahun 2020. Penyebabnya karena UMKM yang bergerak di berbagai sektor itu tak dapat bertahan dari gempuran pandemi Covid-19 yang menghantam sejak setahun belakangan di Indonesia.
“Kalau yang sampai gulung tikar itu ada sekitar 30 persen. Tapi kalau yang terdampak sebetulnya ada lebih banyak, hanya saja masih bisa bertahan,” ungkap Kepala Bidang UMKM dan Koperasi pada Disdagkoperin Kota Cimahi, Rina Mulyani seperti dikutip dari Detikcom, Kamis (28/5/2021).
Menurut data, sepanjang tahun 2020 tercatat sebesar 40 persen UMKM yang mengalami penurunan pendapatan dengan rata-rata 53 persen, penurunan kapasitas produksi rata-rata 44 persen, dan penurunan tenaga kerja rata-rata 23 persen.
“Saat awal pandemi bahkan 99,09 persen penjualan menurun, 36,6 persen produksi terhambat, 51,2 persen terhambat permodalan, 34 persen distribusi terhambat, 35,6 persen kesulitan bahan baku,” tuturnya.
Hingga saat ini masih cukup banyak UMKM yang bertahan di tengah pandemi Covid-19. Namun mereka merupakan para pelaku yang memiliki inovasi dan modal besar sehingga tak terlalu terdampak.
“Inovasinya dari segi produk sampai pemasaran, akhirnya bisa bertahan. Kebanyakan di Cimahi ada yang alih produksi, kemudian memaksimalkan digitalisasi sehingga mereka bertahan. Tapi kalau yang stagnan, rata-rata sudah kolaps,” bebernya.
Pihaknya mengklaim Disdagkoperin Cimahi sudah melakukan berbagai upaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan UMKM yang terdampak pandemi COVID-19 ini.
“Sudah beberapa upaya kita lakukan membantu UMKM ini biar terus bertahan, seperti pelatihan usaha hingga penyediaan marketplace,” tegasnya. (*)
