Lebih dari 2.884 Kawasan di Indonesia Rawan Narkoba Kategori Waspada dan Bahaya
INFOKA.ID – Badan Narkotika Nasional (BNN) menyebut sepanjang tahun 2021 ada lebih dari 2.884 kawasan rawan narkoba dengan kategori waspada dan bahaya.
“Daerah rawan ini tersebar di seluruh provinsi di Indonesia. Ini merupakan tugas besar bagi kita bersama agar semua elemen turut bekerja sama membantu pencegahan penyebaran narkoba ini,” kata Deputi Bidang Pencegahan, Pemberantasan Penyalahgunaan dan Peredaran Gelap Narkoba (P4GN) BNN, Irjen Pol Sufyan Syarif dilansir dari halaman resmi MUI, Senin (4/10/2021).
Menurut dia, penyebaran narkoba tidak pandang bulu, sebab bisa masuk ke semua umur dan semua kalangan. Bahkan, lanjut dia, kawasan pondok pesantren sekalipun bisa menjadi tempat peredaran narkoba.
Kondisi tersebut dinilai Sufyan sangat miris, mengingat pemerintah sudah melakukan berbagai upaya edukasi.
‘”Padahal sudah jelas dampaknya sangat berbahaya, berbagai penyakit baik fisik dan psikis bisa timbul akibat memakai barang ini. TBC, stroke, AIDS, dan penyakit serius lainnya. Ini ancaman besar untuk generasi kita,” ujarnya.
Ia pun mengimbau seluruh elemen untuk berpartisipasi aktif dalam mengawasi, mencegah penyebaran narkoba serta memberdayakan masyarakat setempat masing-masing.
Hal ini, menurut Sufyan, perlu dilakukan agar Indonesia bisa bersih dari peredaran barang gelap ini.
“Berbagai jenis narkoba sering di temukan di masyarakat, kerap kali yang sering kami temukan adalah sabu,” lanjut dia.
“Barang ini sering di temukan di berbagai kalangan, tanpa mereka ketahui dampak yang ditimbulkan akibat pemakaian yang berkepanjangan seperti apa dan BNN di sini siap membantu masyarakatnya yang ingin sembuh dari pemakaian narkoba,” ucap Sufyan. (*)
