Jadi Sutradara, Dian Sastrowardoyo Modal Nekat
INFOKA.ID – Artis Dian Sastrowardoyo mengawali debutnya sebagai sutradara lewat film pendeknya, Nougat. Film pendek tersebut masuk dalam beberapa deretan yang tergabung di omnibus Quarantine Tales.
Dari Detikcom, menjadi sutradara untuk pertama kalinya tentu menjadi hal yang menyulitkan Dian Sastrowardoyo. Ia merasa sutradara memiliki pekerjaan yang berbeda dari kariernya selama ini. Diakui ibu dari dua orang anak itu, ia nekat menjalani pekerjaannya sebagai sutradara pada projectnya kali ini. Hal ini diungkapkan dalam jumpa pers virtual, Rabu (16/12/2020).
“Deg-degan banget pertamanya,” ujar Dian.
“Aku terus terang masih nggak tahu aku bisa atau nggak. Tapi aku nekat aja dan berusaha sebaik mungkin,” sambungnya.
Meski diberatkan dengan beban yang cukup banyak, Dian Sastrowardoyo mengaku sangat menikmati prosesnya. Ia mengaku sangat menyenangkan menjalani pengalaman barunya itu.
“Nggak nyangka segitu menyenangkannya menjadi sutradara,” tutur Dian.
Lebih lanjut, Dian menjelaskan perbedaan beban yang di embannya saat menjadi sutradara. Ia merasa hal itu sangat berbeda dengan dirinya pada saat menjadi aktor.
“Aku merasa tantangannya beda sekali,” ujarnya.
“Kalau jadi pemain kita jadi orang yang ada di depan kamera. Kalau ini kita nggak kelihatan sama sekali di kamera. Kita ngumpet dan membantu teman-teman di depan kamera mencapai tujuan bersama,” sambung Dian.
Hal terbaik yang menjadi kebanggaan dari Dian Sastrowardoyo dapat mewujudkan imajinasinya lewat visualisasi. Hal ini turut dijelaskan Dian dalam jumpa persnya.
“Kita kayak lagi jadi chef. Pakai bumbu apa, bahan baku apa, biar rasanya pas,” tutur Dian.
Diketahui, sebelumnya Dian Sastrowardoyo sempat menjadi produser pada film Guru-Guru Gokil. Dalam project itu Dian juga turut terjun menjadi salah satu karakter.
Film omnibus Quarantine Tales ini juga akan tayang pada 18 Desember 2020 di bioskoponline.com. (*)
