Tim KKN UNSIKA Sosialisasi Program Kerja di Desa Puseur Jaya
KARAWANG – Dosen program studi teknik mesin S1, Deri Teguh Santoso S.T, M.T bersama tim KKN Mahasiswa hadir mempresentasikan rencana program kerja yang akan dilakukan selama masa KKN.
KKN yang bertemakan “Tematik Integratif” tersebut merupakan KKN yang berkonsentrasi pada pengabdian masyarakat.
Dengan judul “Sosialisasi Pemanfaatan Bahan Alam Menjadi Biokomposit untuk Meningkatkan Nilai Jual Produk Mebel”, tim menyusun rencana program kerja yaitu sosialisasi mengenai pemanfaatan limbah/serbuk kayu untuk bahan baku pembuatan kursi/meja, sosialisasi edukasi kesehatan mengenai Covid-19, Kerjabakti/gotong royong dalam rangka menjaga kebersihan desa, melakukan penghijauan (menanam pohon yang berbuah), membuat poster peduli lingkungan, membuat poster yang berisi profil desa, dan mengenalkan kepada masyarakat luas dan luar Karawang tentang Desa Puseur Jaya melalui media podcast bersama masyarakat setempat yang akan di Upload di Instagram Tim KKN.
Program kerja ini disambut baik dan antusias oleh Kepala desa.
“Kami menyambut baik kedatangan adik-adik, bapak dan ibu dosen dari Universitas Singaperbangsa untuk KKN di desa Puseur Jaya” Ucap Kepala desa Puseur Jaya Dadih Sastrawijaya.
Selain itu, jajaran aparatur desa terlihat antusias mendengarkan penjelasan yang dipaparkan oleh tim KKN yang hadir dan melakukan presentasi.
“KKN ini adalah KKN yang terintegrasi dengan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Dan tidak hanya terfokus pada judul KKN saja, Namun mencakup hal yang lebih luas dan dinamis yang dapat dilakukan demi kemaslahatan desa.” Ucap Deri Teguh Santoso S.T,M.T selaku dosen pembimbing lapangan.
Proses diskusi dan tanya jawab pun juga terjadi guna meminimalisir miskomunikasi. Pihak desa menginginkan agar KKN dari pihak kampus Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang dapat dilaksanakan dengan maksimal untuk kemaslahatan desa.
“Kami ingin Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang bisa berkontribusi lebih untuk kemajuan desa Puseur Jaya. Dalam satu wilayah, tapi terlihat ketinggalan. Mungkin rekan dari UNSIKA bisa membantu untuk bersama membangun desa Puseur Jaya,” ucap salah seorang aparatur desa Puseur Jaya.
Dari kegiatan KKN diharapkan dapat membantu mewujudkan salah satu dari tri Dharma Perguruan tinggi, yakni pengabdian kepada masyarakat. (rls)
