Luhut: Penyebaran Covid-19 Varian Delta Tersebar Cepat di Kawasan Industri di Karawang
INFOKA.ID – Menteri Koordinator Bidang Kemaritiman dan Investasi (Menko Marves) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, mengungkapkan dalam evaluasi PPKM yang menyebutkan bahwa Covid-19 varian delta tersebar secara lebih cepat di wilayah industri di Karawang, Jawa Barat.
Luhut pun menilai perlu terus-menerus melakukan pengetatan protokol kesehatan (prokes) di wilayah industri.
Ia mengaku penyebaran kasus virus Covid-19 varian Delta tersebut ditemukan penyebarannya sangat cepat khususnya di kawasan ataupun wilayah perindustrian.
“Kabupaten Karawang menunjukkan bahwa Covid-19 varian Delta tersebar secara lebih cepat di wilayah industri dibandingkan non-industri. Oleh sebab itu kita evaluasi lagi, perketat protokol Kesehatan (prokes), agar tidak terjadi klaster baru,” kata Luhut, Senin (26/7/2021).
“Hasil pemantauan sampai saat ini menunjukkan tingginya intensitas cahaya pada malam hari, yang mengindikasikan adanya kegiatan. Ini paling banyak ditemukan di daerah industri. Oleh sebab itu, kami evaluasi lagi, perketat prokesagar tidak terjadi klaster baru,” katanya.
Meskipun demikian Luhut menyampaikan pihak pelaku industri harus lebih berhati-hati dan banyak berkaca dan belajar dari pengalaman di Kabupaten Kudus untuk melakukan penanganan yang sigap dan mitigasi.
“Saya minta agar protokol kesehatan untuk industri perlu dibuat secara lebih terperinci lagi, dengan menggunakan menggunakan best practice dari Kudus,” ujarnya.
Menurutnya, implementasi protokol kesehatan yang ketat ini kemudian dijadikan standar bagi seluruh industri agar segera dapat tetap beroperasi.
“Tak hanya itu, saya minta agar semua karyawan dari pelaku industri wajib dan harus vaksin. Vaksin itu penting,” tambahnya.
Dengan demikian Luhut menekankan dan menghimbau kepada pelaku industri pada masa PPKM level 4 untuk memperketat regulasi industri agar tetap beroperasi seperti memiliki IOMKI (Izin Operasional dan Mobilitas Kegiatan Industri). (*)
