Syahril Jadi Korban Politik Cellica, Beasiswa Karawang Cerdas Cuma Harapan Palsu
KARAWANG – Ingatan Syahril terbang pada momen satu tahun lalu pada saat pembukaan Perkemahan Raimuna Cabang Karawang, yang digelar pada 26-29 November 2019 silam. Saat itu dia tak menyangka menjadi satu di antara dua orang yang dipanggil oleh Bupati Cellica ke panggung. Saat itu tak disangka, ia dijanjikan bakal dikuliahkan oleh Cellica dan dijanjikan pula masuk beasiswa Karawang Cerdas.
Namun janji tinggal janji, setahun janji itu ia terima, tak pernah ada utusan Cellica datang ke rumahnya. Bulan Mei 2020 lalu, Syahril lulus dari bangku SMA. Ia mengaku sudah berulang kali menagih janji yang pernah diucapkan Cellica kepada dia. Tagihan janji itu ia titipkan kepada kepala desa, camat, bahkan sampai ajudan Cellica.
Cita-cita ia melanjutkan jenjan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi yang bisa saja terwujud setelah dijanjikan oleh Cellica itu, sejauh ini belum terlaksana. “Saya sudah coba ke kepala desa, kata pak kades suruh ke camat. Dari camat di suruh ke ajudan. Dari ajudan, sampai sekarang ga ada tanggapan,” ungkap Syahril, Kamis, (26/11).
Warga Desa Bayur Kidul, Kecamatan Cilamaya Kulon itu menuturkan, harapan tinggi sempat membumbung. Kala Cellica memeluk pundaknya dan mengatakan akan memberikan beasiswa untuk kuliahnya.
Wajar saja, Syahril yang punya cita-cita mulia ingin memperbaiki ekonomi keluarganya itu, punya ambisi besar untuk bisa jadi sarjana. Setidaknya, untuk bisa mendapat pekerjaan yang layak.
“Setiap ada acara bupati di Cilamaya, saya datang. Saya tanya ajudan. Tapi di nanti-nanti terus. Setelah itu saya sadar, mungkin ini prank,” tandasnya.
Jika ia bisa bertemu bupati sekali lagi, kata Syahril, ia hanya ingin mengingatkan tentang harapan apa yang ia punya. Saat janji Cellica itu diberikan dan di ingat dalam-dalam oleh pemuda hitam manis itu.
“Kalau ketemu bupati saya cuma mau bilang, ibu ingat ga sama janji itu?,” katanya.
Syahril mengaku, jika saat ini ia sudah tak terlalu bergairah untuk mengejar beasiswa itu. Menjadi fokusnya saat ini, hanya ingin membahagiakan ke dua orang tuanya yang sudah pisah.
Namun, fase sulit bagi Syahril belum berlalu. Sudah berulang kali melamar kerja ke perusahaan. Alumnus SMAN 1 Cilamaya itu tak kunjung mendapat pekerjaan.
Aktivitasnya sehari-hari sekarang, hanya fokus untuk kegiatan kepramukaan. Selain sebagai Ketua DKR Cilamaya Wetan. Syahril juga ternyata aktif di Satuan Kirakartika Kodim 0604 Karawang.
“Kuliah itu cita-cita saya. Biar bisa banggain ibu, banggain bapak juga. Tapi untuk saat ini saya ingin cari kerja. Biar bisa bayar kuliah pakai uang sendiri,” kata Syahril.
“Tapi apa mau di kata, saya sudah berusaha. Cari kerja di Karawang susah, kalau ada juga harus pakai uang,” imbuhnya.
Sementara itu, Senior Pramuka Syahril yang tak mau namanya di sebut mengungkapkan, Syahril merupakan anak yang aktif di Pramuka sejak duduk di bangku SMP. Prestasinya juga banyak. Termasuk di tunjuk menjadi Ketua DKR Pramuka Kecamatan Cilamaya Wetan.
Melihat kondisi Syahril yang sekarang, sumber mengaku prihatin. Anak secerdas Syahril, rupanya hanya menjadi korban janji politik yang merugikannya.
“Saya harap Bupati tidak lupa janji itu. Syahril sampai sekarang menunggu. Dia punya semangat itu, dia cerdas, dia harus kuliah,” tandasnya. (red)
