Warga Bekasi Dihebohkan Kemunculan Semburan Gas Dari Dalam Tanah
INFOKA.ID – Warga Bekasi, Jawa Barat, dihebohkan kemunculan semburan gas yang mengeluarkan api dari dalam tanah. Semburan gas itu dipicu aktivitas pengeboran.
“Awalnya kita lagi ngebor air, terus keluar gas bahkan sampai ada api. Di situ kita kaget semuanya,” ujar pengebor sumur, Egi Nurhasan, seperti dikutip dari Antaranews.com, Selasa (23/3/2021).
Menurut Egi, Kemunculan semburan gas itu terjadi pada Senin (22/3) malam. Mulanya Egi bersama rekan-rekannya tengah melakukan pengeboran di Kampung Pal Jaya, RT 02 RW 33, Desa Segara Jaya, Kecamatan Tarumajaya, Bekasi, sedalam 20 meter.
Egi mulai curiga atas keluarnya gas dari dalam pipa. Kemudian, Egi menyulutnya dengan korek api.
Seketika keluarlah semburan gas disertai api. Karena insiden itu, ia melaporkannya ke petugas PT Pertamina setempat.
“Gas yang sudah menyala menjadi api itu tidak mati meski diembus angin kencang. Hingga kini belum mati juga. Untuk mengantisipasi kerusakan material, pemerintah desa setempat sudah memasang garis pembatas,” katanya.
Babinsa Desa Segara Jaya Peltu Ajasmad memastikan pihaknya sudah menutup lubang semburan gas itu dengan pasir. Hal tersebut sebagai langkah antisipasi terjadinya hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan.
“Kita tutup dulu untuk sementara waktu dengan semen dan pasir, kita lubangi dengan diameter dan kedalaman satu meter,” kata Ajasmad.
Ajasmad menambahkan ia sudah membuat garis pembatas jarak aman bagi warga sekitar. Pihaknya juga telah berkoordinasi dengan pemerintah setempat agar dilakukan peninjauan. (*)
