Satu Orang Tewas Dalam Kebakaran Rumah Makan di Karawang
INFOKA.ID – Sebuah rumah makan hangus terbakar di Perumnas Telukjambe, Desa Sukaluyu Kecamatan Telukjambe Timur Karawang, Minggu (29/8/21) dinihari. Akibat peristiwa tersebut, satu orang tewas dan polisi masih mencari penyebab kebakaran.
Kepala Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Karawang, Yasin Nasrudin mengatakan, kebakaran terjadi pada pukul 1.30 WIB ketika penghuni sedang tertidur. Kemudian api tiba-tiba muncul dari rumah makan.
“Ada warga yang melihat api berkobar dari rumah makan. Kemudian warga mencoba memadamkan api namun api semakin membesar,” katanya.
Api mulai bisa dijinakan ketika dua unit pemadam kebakaran datang membantu. Setelah dua jam kemudian api berhasil dipadamkan petugas pemadam kebakaran.
“Butuh waktu sekitar dua jam sampai api padam semua. Belum diketahui penyebabnya, tapi kata warga memang didekat rumah makan yang terbakar itu sedang ada pengerjaan pengelasan reklame?” katanya.
Setelah api padam kemudian petugas mendapati satu orang penghuni, Aris Solihin tewas didalam rumah makan dengan tubuh gosong.
Korban merupakan warga Kuningan dan bekerja di rumah makan tersebut.
“Polisi masih mengusut penyebab kebakaran. Beberapa warganjuha sedang dimintai keterangan,” katanya. (*)
