BPS: Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Jawa Barat Naik 6,13 Persen
INFOKA.ID – Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Jawa Barat (Jabar) mencatat pertumbuhan ekonomi (PDRB) Jabar pada triwulan ini secara year on year (yoy) pada 2021 tumbuh naik 6,13 persen, sedangkan secara kumulatif hingga triwulan II/2021 tumbuh 2,54 persen.
Kepala BPS Jabar Dyah Anugrah Kuswardani mengatakan meningkatnya pertumbuhan ekonomi Jawa Barat triwulan II terjadi sebelum adanya kebijakan Perberlakukan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat atau PPKM.
“Triwulan II ini untuk kondisi April, Mei, Juni sebelum terjadinya PPKM. Barangkali ini menjadi latar belakang (pertumbuhan ekonomi),” kata Diyah, dilansir dari Pikiran-Rakyat.com, Sabtu (14/8/2021).
Diyah menjelaskan pertumbuhan ekonomi Jawa Barat juga dipengaruhi negara-negara mitra dagang seperti Amerika Serikat yang tumbuh 12,2 persen dan Uni Eropa.
“Ini juga memiliki pengaruh terhadap ekspor Jawa Barat karena ekspor ke AS dan Uni Eropa ini menjadi dominan dan AS menjadi mitra dagang yang utama Jawa Barat,” katanya.
Diyah menjelaskan pertumbuhan ekonomi AS menjadi salah satu latar belakang meningkatnya ekonomi Jabar sampai 6,13 persen.
“Kenapa sampai 6,13 persen, perlu digarisbawahi, ini dibandingkan dengan triwulan II 2020 yang sangat terpuruk, dimana kita mengalami kontraksi sampai 5,91 persen,” katanya.
Dia menjelaskan sepanjang tahun 2020 pertumbuhan ekonomi Jabar mengalami resesi karena selalu kontraksi. Namun, setelah periode ada tren yang menunjukkan positif.
Ekonomi Jawa Barat kini sudah beranjak normal yang ditandai dengan PDRB ADHK triwulan II-2021 yang nilainya hampir menyamai ADHK triwulan II-2019 (sebelum Covid-19).
BPS Jabar menyebutkan sumber pertumbuhan ekonomi utama dari sisi lapangan usaha disumbangkan oleh industri pengolahan dengan andil 3,01 persen. Hal ini didorong oleh industri non migas karena membaiknya pasar luar negeri khususnya.
Sementara dari sisi pengeluaran disumbangkan oleh pengeluaran konsumsi rumah tangga dengan andil 3,42 persen.
Adapun di triwulan III-2021, ekonomi Jawa Barat menghadapi tantangan dengan adanya PPKM Darurat yang menyebabkan mobilitas penduduk terbatas.
Hasil survei BPS pada Juli 2021, penduduk yang melaksanakan perjalanan ke luar rumah lebih dari 4 dalam sepekan menurun dari 45,75 persen pada kondisi sebelum PPKM menjadi hanya 13,97 pada saat PPKM Darurat. (*)
